i was walking through the village today and spotted a brown lurcher type dog attacking sheep and lambs in the fields just above the village. i managed to get some pictures of the incident but more importantly the dog and the house nearby where it first appeared from. Is there anybody i can mail the images to so the dog and owner can be traced and hopefully the owner given some advice. You have my email address if youd like to contact me with some details then feel free to do so.

Hi Kerry

Our History Club meets next month after the Summer Break and I will take your request for information along to the next meeting. The surname Wood is certainly a Pendleton name and if we uncover any details we will pass them on to you.

Dear Pendleton,

We hope you will consider promoting the following to your readers and members.
We at Owens Walks research and prepare superb guides for various walks in Lancashire, to encourage people to walk for health and engage with our countryside.

Our guides are FREE, yes there's not much FREE these days but visitors to our site http://www.owenswalks.org can browse our walks and download FREE guides that include a map, GPS reading and a commentary as well as other interesting stuff. Our guides are a 2-page pdf and designed to be printed back-to-back to produce a superb 'tent leaflet' that can be used on the walk.

We hope you and your site visitors find this interesting and we welcome any comments and suggestions.

Our Best Wishes from
Owens Walks
