Pendleton Village

Pendleton Village nestles at the foot of Pendle Hill in the picturesque Ribble Valley, an area of outstanding beauty in rural Lancashire. Essentially a farming village, it was described as 'Peniltune' in the Doomsday Book and Bronze Age discoveries have hinted at a far more distant past.

Pendleton History Society

Pendleton History Society was established in 2008 and meets in the Village Hall, once a month (usually the second Wednesday in the month) to investigate, discuss, share and record all aspects of past Village Life. Current areas of research include: (click on the links below)
